ANNUAL EVENTS
Welcome Week
The PTO welcomes students back to school! PTO members will help students find their new classrooms and walk our youngest students to class.
PTO Ice Cream Social
The PTO Ice Cream Social is the place to meet with other parents and classmates at the beginning of the school year. The PTO provides ice cream sundae bar and Otter Pops!
Family Fun Night (Spring and Fall)
Coinciding with the Scholastic Book Fair, the PTO hosts a biannual Family Fun Night. Students and parents are invited to enjoy a hot dog dinner and lawn games, plus, shopping at the Book Fair!
Holiday Social
The PTO hosts a potluck breakfast before the annual Holiday Program. Parents are encouraged to bring a potluck item.
100th Day of School/Fisher House Donation Drive
Our annual Fisher House collection drive coincides with our 100th day celebration. Each class will receive a list of needed supplies and will track the number of donations brought in; our goal is for each class to collect 100 items by the 100th day of school! Your generous donations will be collected and delivered to the Fisher House at Tripler Army Medical Center. The Fisher House Foundation provides a “home away from home” to families of patients receiving care at certain military and VA hospitals.
Family Dance
Familes have loads of fun at the annual Family Dance! Hosted at a nearby location, the PTO goes all out decorating for the dance and providing food, fun, and tunes for students and parents. Past dance themes have included a Valentine's Day dance and a Mardi Gras party.
Teacher Appreciation Week and Administration Appreciation Day
With the help of parent volunteers, the PTO make each staff member feel special with gifts to show they are appreciated and loved.
Lei Day Social
The PTO hosts a potluck breakfast before the annual Lei Day Program. Parents are encouraged to bring a potluck item.
Fun Day
One of the biggest and funnest days of the year, Fun Day is exactly what it sounds like---a day for kids to have fun! PTO members set up obstacle courses and events for each class to participate and compete.
